Hollow Fiber Technology
GravityWorks filters are made of hundreds of hollow fibers bundled into a single filter. Water flows through the walls of these fibers, leaving impurities behind. The resulting filter provides up to 18 times more surface area than traditional filter media.
Platypus Gravity Works
Platypus GravityWorks water filters make it effortless to get clean water practically anywhere. You simply fill the reservoir and let gravity filter the water for you. GravityWorks filters provide clean water faster than most pump systems, and they make it easier to store, transport and dispense all the water you need. All GravityWorks filters meet EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of Bacteria and Protozoa, including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E.coli, Salmonella and Cholera.
